I was born in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. I studied Social Anthropology and a Diploma in Cinematography at the University of Veracruz.

Since 1997 I've been working in the film production department, as 2nd and 1st A.D. as well as production coordinator and documentary producer. In 2009 I moved to Oslo, Norway, where I work both in the production and direction departments for commercials, short films and Tv series.


In 2012 I made Alfonso, Elena and the printing shop, a short documentary programed at Valle de Bravo International film festival, at the Autumn program at Oslo kino and at Images from the South Festival in Malmö, Sweden.

In 2014 I made Ana's attic, a medium length documentary that has been shown in Uruguay, Norway and Sweden. This project got support from the Norwegian Council of Culture, the Norwegian Institute for Local History, the Bamble Savings bank and the Bamble Municipality

I have a master in Documentary and Journalism from Volda University College. I graduated with the thesis "There are no victims in this town", the first step towards a trans media documentary about being a journalist in the state of Veracruz, Mexico.

I also like reading, graphic novels, hiking, swimming, cooking and eating.
